Studio 2 – Projects

How I have managed and am planning to manage

For this assignment of 5 weeks, I am going to be managing the project by using a calender ( google drive), timesheets, and written forms/plans from google drive.

I am not really a fan of setting calenders for myself unless someone else sets it. I usually go with the flow of my own practices. So how I am going to increase the ‘flow’ within my project calender is to set times ahead of schedule and change them to seek my fitting if it doesnt flow well with me.

These time sheets are what I am going to do to calculate my hours and dates of working. I plan to work a lot, but I dont want to waste any time.

Book Cut-Out

Now from the last blog i did a few days ago here: I talked about cutting a book and my process of doing an interesting style like this for a photography style. I have attempted to follow multiple tutorials (links in references), and am going to do a few in case I screw up.

>Before you start, you’ll need a shitload of books. (these are for sculptures and other stuff as well. There is more in my spare room)

To begin, you need to glue your pages together and glad wrap the pages which do not need to be glued or you want to keep.

After, you will rule out a perfect..ish square across the book. If you’re gonna do it, use an old book. I bought about 20 books from lifeline for $27. This book is a ‘danielle steel’ lol

I might have to do it again, because this book was used for a practice. If it goes wrong, I will be able to do it again faster because I know how to do it properly now.

(Almost done!)

Now if the book inst the right way i want it after making multiple, the way to fix the unstable pages would be to edit it later in Photoshop to get that nice crisp square feeling (not cheating) with the feeling of hard work and dedication as well, so i will feel delighted.
